For the Lights & Sights Walking Tour, your festive evening kicks off at Union Station, known for its lavish lights display coupled with it's cozy Great Hall décor and charm. We'll share with you the stories that feature lots of holiday and Christmas lore & stories of days gone by. This experience was designed to give you views and great photo opportunities of Denver’s most beautiful and famous landmarks, magnificently lit up for this cheery time of year. This is sure to get even a Scrooge into the holiday spirit!

Besides getting the inside scoop on the famous and incredibly lit-up sights we'll visit, you'll hear about holiday traditions that got their start right here in Denver & other fun Christmas stories that will surprise you.
This experience visits the D&F Clock Tower, Larimer Square, The Mile High Tree adorned with thousands of Denver Christmas lights, Christkindl Market (through 12/23), and more, ending at the City & County Building, known for its extravagant lights display.

We give great recommendations on our favorite nearby places to grab a bite to eat or drink after your experience wraps up and you're done touring Denver. Along this festive walk, you'll have plenty of opportunities to ask questions, take photos, chat one-on-one & see and learn more in two hours than you thought possible!

Meet your local guide at the flagpole in front of Union Station. The flagpole is located on the west corner of 17th and Wynkoop

Be sure to arrive by 4:50 p.m., at least 10 minutes prior to the tour departure time, to ensure you don't miss the arrival and departure of your guide. Tours do start and depart on time. Please account for rush hour, traffic and parking.

Denver lights tours operate rain, snow, or shine & when events are happening at or around the City & County Building, and there's events many evenings during the holiday season. ​

In cases of extreme weather, our team will contact you with rescheduling or cancellation information at least 2 hours prior to your scheduled departure time, as your safety and the safety of our team members is paramount.

Your local guide will be carrying a small green Denver Walking Tours sign and festive holiday wear.

Denver lights tours are wheelchair and stroller accessible, but if there was a recent snowfall or ice accumulation it can make it more difficult and discretion is advised.

All ages are welcome to see the Denver lights and sights! Will kid(s) like the tour of Denver's lights? That really depends on your kiddo(s)! Our Denver holiday lights tours are suitable and designed to be enjoyed by all ages. Your guide is trained and experienced in working with youth. Youth ages 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Please bring: A camera for some great pics of the Denver lights, a drink or snack (optional), some holiday spirit and cheer!

There is the Free 16th St. Mall shuttle that can take you back to the start of the Denver lights tour, if needed from the ending location in LoDo. It runs every few minutes.

You will be outside, so don't forget to dress in layers and prepare appropriately for cold weather! This includes warm boots with good grip and especially ensuring your hands, fingers, feet, toes and hear are covered and toasty warm.

Please plan on using a restroom prior to coming to the tour, as there are very limited public restrooms along the lights of Denver tour route.

Seeing Denver's Christmas lights is a great activity for locals & you family and friends visiting during the holiday season!
